Q: How can I measure OEE of long batches that run beyond the shift-limit?
Arno Koch • With long batches running far longer than a regular shift (e.g. multiple days or even weeks), it doesn’t makes sense to register its OEE per normal 8 hour shift. In that case, it might be a solution to redefine the time-frame of a regular OEE measure. The normal OEE time-frame of 1 shift of 8 hours could be set to 168hrs (one week) or even more.
